What we say is important. But more important is what we do. Why? Because what we eventually DO is often the outflow of what we have been SAYING within us over time. For example, there was a man in the Bible originally called Joses whom the apostles surnamed Barnabas. He was given the name Barnabas because Barnabas meant, “the son of consolation.”And how did he earn that name? He earned that name and reputation because of the fact that his activities helped to console the apostles in their assignments. His deeds helped to wipe tears away from the eyes of the weary. He partnered with the apostles with his time, prayer and resources.
I learnt a long time ago that in the school of advancement, I have a responsibility to back-up my dream with a dream-seed.
That divine understanding to be an agent of consolation to somebody steered me years ago to partner with our world mission outreaches as "an advancement kingdom partner (AKP). That understanding of partnership also empowered me to partner with five other ministries every month for the purpose of advancing the kingdom.
Space and restraint will not allow me to itemize the benefits of kingdom partnership so as not to draw attention to myself but to Jesus. But simply put: THE JOY OF PARTNERSHIP IS SIMPLY UNQUANTIFIABLE...Pray about partnering with us today like Barnabas did with the apostles and begin to see the fruits of partnership.
My dear friend, become an agent of consolation in the hand of God…And your story of advancement will never cease! #KeepAdvancing!
“And Joses, who by the apostles was surnamed Barnabas, (which is, being interpreted, The son of consolation,) a Levite, and of the country of Cyprus, Having land, sold it, and brought the money, and laid it at the apostles' feet." (Acts 4:37).
Dear Lord, I receive your enabling grace to become an agent of consolation today, in Jesus name. Amen!
