What Can You See?

11.The word of the LORD came to me saying, "What do you see, Jeremiah?" And I said, "I see a rod of an almond tree." 12.Then the LORD said to me, "You have seen well, for I am watching over My word to perform it." (Jeremiah 1:11-12)

What you see in the course of your day-to-day activities is more important than what you hear. For what you hear makes you a by-stander to an event but what you see makes you an eye-witness. In life, people sometimes doubt what they hear but hardly doubt what they see. That was why God wanted to be sure that the Prophet Jeremiah had a clear picture of the vision he showed him in (Jeremiah 1:11-12). The Lord prompted a feedback from Jeremiah with this question:

"What do you see, Jeremiah?" And Jeremiah responded: "I see a rod of an almond tree."

Kindly take note, my dear reader that the clarity of what Jeremiah saw so pleased the Lord that the Lord told Jeremiah that he would hasten-up to carry out his plans in Jeremiah's life.

Friends, what you see either around you, in your imaginations and in your spiritual visions fuel your faith, enlarge your scope of thought and implants a seed of advancement within you that makes you unstoppable. Paul understood this principle so much that he prayed ernestly for the "eyes of understanding" of the people of God to open in a way that would enable them to see the inheritance that Christ had procured for them.

For example christian billionaires like the 91 year old founder of the Chick-fil-A chain of restaurants, Truett Cathy saw the place of God in business and ensured that every Chick-fil-A store is closed on Sundays to enable employees to go to church, the 70 year old christian billionaire, David Green saw the place of God in business and ensured that part of the proceeds from his families Hobby Lobby chain of 520 super stores is applied in the sponsorship of the You Version BIble App. for mobile phones which had already been downloaded more than 50 million times, Jin Sook and her husband Do Won Chang who both share the spot of number 79 with David Green in the list of the 400 richest Americans were Korean immigrants who saw the place of God in business and ensured that John 3:16 is printed on every plastic bag that leaves any of their 480 Forever 21 clothing outlets accross the United States.

The point here is that we must ensure to see what God wants us to see in whatever area of life that we find ourselves in. Yes, plant a smile of hope on somebody's face in your customer-service job today, dare to release the aroma of love in your career, business and ministry today, understand that many more would be impacted for Jesus outside the four walls of the church than from within the church....Yes, let your light so shine in the market place of life that men and women would admire the God in you...And finally, my dear reader, in whatever you do, whatever you face, inever ever forget that the seed of something special is in you, the seed of advancement is in you and that seed is growing day-by-day...#KeepAdvancing! and Share this message with your friends, CLICK on this button to join the Advancement Kingdom Patners if you perceive the need to partner with us as we disseminate the supremacy of light over darkness...God bless you and let's hear your good reports.

Yours in his service,
