ADVANCEMENT DEVOTIONAL: Sweatless Triumph Is My Portion (Part 3)

"But we all, with open face beholding as in a glass the glory of the Lord, are changed into the same image from glory to glory, even as by the Spirit of the Lord." (2 Cor. 3:18).

Who do you see when you look in that dressing mirror in your room today? Do you see a fearful face who is rattled and emotionally torn concerning the negative news from the Cable stations, the Social media platforms and your sphere of influence? Do you wonder why anyone could be talking of triumphing over the limitations of life on a sweatless frequency? Do you see a struggling sinner whose presence cannot be tolerated by an angry God? Do you see a beaten and battered business person whose destiny is just to till and toil for survival? Do you see a career person who is destined to live from paycheck to paycheck? Do you see a pastor who seems confused about how to do the bidding of the Master without being a beggar?

If that is all that you see in your dressing mirror, then be rest assured that you need to refocus your gaze today! You need to shift your gaze from the DRESSING MIRROR in your room which shows you the true picture of a struggling survivalist to the DISCOVERY MIRROR of life which shows you the masterpiece of God that you were designed to be by destiny.

When the weak dares to do what 2 Corinthians 3:18 instructs, that weak one is changed from the state of weakness to the state of strength. That struggling one is changed from the state of defeat to the state of victory. That confused one is changed from the state of confusion to the state of wisdom. Yes, your dressing mirror may reflect a defeated person, but I dare you to see that the discovery mirror of life, which is the word of God reflects you as the glory of God. That is how God sees you in Christ. That is the beam of hope you must reflect when you talk to a client today. Smile with relish. Walk with splendor. Work with joy, for sweatless triumph is your portion in Christ Jesus.

May that be your reality today, in Jesus name. Be of good cheer!
