INSPIRATION: Loyalty Is Not An Old-Fashioned Word

Have you ever wondered why loyalty often seems to be a missing word in many people’s vocabulary? Some would tell you the nicest thing just to penetrate your heart…only to disappear like lightning when they seem to find little use for you. Some would call you mom, but cannot wish you an ordinary happy mother’s day. Others would call you friend, but cannot defend you at your back…Loyalty is faithfulness. Loyalty is reliability. Loyalty is the missing factor in every form of relationship. Loyalty to a cause shows the content of your heart; loyalty to a spouse remains an endearing mark of honor; loyalty to a friend is worth more than money; loyalty to a mentor is the catalyst for growth, loyalty to a brother or sister makes that brother or sister a friend for life. Jesus felt it when Peter denied him. David identified it when Jonathan stood for him. My dear friend, remember that others may fail you, but you still have a friend in Jesus. Talk to him…Voice out your frustrations…For he is never bored with your presence…#KeepAdvancing!

“Many will say they are loyal friends, but who can find one who is truly reliable?” (Proverbs 20:6) (NLT)

I ask for the enabling grace for loyalty today, in Jesus name!
