CAREER: Snap Out Of Your Negative Mood Before You Step Into Your Workplace
Negative moods creep in when we least expect them on a workday. Statistics show that more people get easily rattled on workdays than on off-days. For example, an unmet deadline over the weekend may fowl up your Monday morning, waking up late because you mistakenly set your alarm clock for PM instead of AM may set you off wrongly, forgetting to pick up your lunch pack may distort your focus for a while, staining your shirt as you attempt to gulp your morning coffee or tea may linger on your mind for the better part of the day, brooding over your hours of work may set you off on the wrong lane…My dear friend, the advancement strategies to adopt on such days is to talk less…ponder on the joy of the Lord…and refuse to make sarcastic comments about your negative mood. For refusing to snap out of your negative mood is deciding to stay mentally imprisoned the whole day...#KeepAdvancing!
“While we look not at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen: for the things which are seen are temporal; but the things which are not seen are eternal”
(2 Cor. 4:18).
I refuse to allow my mistakes to define me today, in Jesus name.
